Research On The Silhouette Of Female Suit From2000to2011

The Fashions is a kind of social phenomenon produced as its environment andbackground conditions. It has a strong times factors, it is the specific reflection ofpeople aesthetic idea and social economic and cultural level. It is cyclical, regularityand predictability. In the21st century, with the women’s social and economic statureconstantly upgrade, women’ fashion cycle is speed up, and women’s apparel shape ismore rich and changeful. Present social given women more opportunities, and thesituation that opportunity and competition are coexist, so that women’s effect andadvantage cannot be ignored in the workplace. The shape of female suit is changeable,and it is flexibility, so that the female suit is not only confined to wear in theenvironment of workplace, but also in fashion and popular reflect.As a branch of fashion apparel shape design, the basic shape of female suit issimilar to male suits, but the design of its shape and color are more abound change.By the influence of the fashion factor, the design of female suit shape, color andfabric make large variation, but it is also restricted by industry and workingenvironment. Compared with other style of apparel, the change space of female suitshape design is limited, and it has less interference factors so that it is more helpful tothe analysis on fashion.This topic is mainly to analysis and study on the changes of fashion on femalesuits since2000. Research methods in this paper are using with pictures and theory toillustrate. Based on the research of fashion and art from elder people, and the theoryof related field about social culture adding to vast amount of pictures, this paper withapparel sociology，history of apparel, and apparel design related theories andmethods to study the silhouette changes of female suits in fashion, and concluded thecharacteristics and regularity of the silhouette changes of female suits.The main research contents of this topic are as follows:(1) described thecharacteristics and the contents of the fashion, analysis the development history offemale suit. Study from the origin of suit and female suit to its development process,analysis its dressing characteristics, then based its dressing requirement and dressingenvironment to classify it as two kinds. Generalize and analysis the main factors which influence the silhouette of female suit according to its dressing characteristics.(2) Analysis female suit through collecting vast amount of pictures from authoritativemagazines and web site which provides information of fashion show. Classify thefemale suit to three kinds based on its style, and illustrate every position whichinfluences the suit’s silhouette in different stage of time in detail, then analysis thisfactors change characteristics and concluded the regularity of female suit.(3) Studyand summarize the factor which affect the silhouette change of female suit assubjective factor, objective factor, and other kind factors in this new century.(4) Inthe last, combine the fashion trends with the silhouette of female suit to forecast itsshape and make an innovation design.
