The water conservancy is our critical infrastructure, and has an important role innational economy and social development. Water conservancy project has broughtenormous economic and social benefits, but also caused tremendous damage to theenvironment. Environmental impact generated by the water conservancy project isvery complex, and many of the environmental problems caused by it is difficult topredict and judge. Environmental impact post-assessment can compensate for thisproblem and corrected. The study on Environmental impact post-assessment of waterconservancy project in China starts relatively late, and at the same time the most ofevaluation indexes are difficult to quantify. So the method of Environmental impactpost-assessment on water conservancy project is primarily qualitative analysis, lack ofsystematic and persuasive. Based on above reasons, this study consideredcharacteristics of the water conservancy project, screened evaluation indexes andestablished Environmental impact post-assessment index system of water conservancyproject. By means of the combination of fuzzy mathematics and analytic hierarchyprocess, the multistage fuzzy comprehensive appraisal model has been proposed andapplied to the Laolongkou water complex, in order to achieve the quantitative andcomprehensive evaluation.The paper consists five parts:1. Clarify the purpose and significance of the study, give the thesis content,technical route through comprehensive analysis of progress and shortcomings;2. Provide the concepts and the principle of environmental impactpost-assessment of water conservancy project and derive the work program;3. Based on the analysis of the environmental impact of the water conservancyproject, screen evaluation indexes and establish index system of environmental impact post-assessment for water conservancy project.4. By means of the combination of fuzzy mathematics and analytic hierarchyprocess, the multistage fuzzy comprehensive appraisal model has been proposed.5. Select Laolongkou water complex as an example to conduct an Environmentalimpact post-assessment, in order to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of theevaluation system and evaluation methods.
