As a new carbon material, graphene possesses excellent physical, chemical andmechanical performance, such as good electrical and thermal conductivity, highspecific surface area, and high mechanical strength, which make it a good electrodematerial. In this thesis, graphene was prepared by oxidation-reduction method, andtreated as a electrod material. Its electrochemical performance was detected.Thefollowing are the main content in this thesis.1. Infulence factors which effect on the prepareation of graphite oxide wereresearched, which were including partical size and uniformity, oxidant amount, andreaction temperature. The experimental results show that reaction temperature had amaximal infulence on the oxidation degree of graphite. It was preferable forintercalation and oxidation of graphite in low reaction temperature, and layer spacingof graphite oxide could reach8.2773nm. At the same time, influence factors whicheffect on the preparation of graphene by reduction with hydrazine hydrate.2. Graphene was prepared by reduction method with hydrazine hydrate, and wascharacterized by XRD, FT-IR, FESEM and TEM. The graphene was3-5layersobserved by HRTEM. As a electrode material, its capacitance was136.6F/g.3. Graphene was prepared by thermal expansion method in low temperature, andwas characterized by XRD, FT-IR, Raman and FESEM.
