Currently in hot rolling strip production process, the performance of steel productsdepends not only on the hot rolling process, but also on the cooling system after rolling.Controlled cooling after rolling at the output roller aims to obtain the possible refinementgrain and the structure, thus improving the comprehensive mechanical performance ofstrip steel. The selection of equipment of the laminar cooling and configuration directlyaffect the product quality of strip, production and investment. So appropriate equipmentand related parameters, not only improve the quality of hot rolled strip products, but alsocan maximize savings.In order to realize the hot strip laminar cooling system parameter design, this textbased on the database technology, collected a number of the overall technology scheme ofadvanced and reasonable laminar cooling equipment at home and abroad. Consideringvarious factors, provides reliable reference and reasonable suggestions for thedevelopment of new laminar cooling system.On then basis of the hot strip laminar cooling equipment overall design was done,make the analysis the heat transfer mechanism for hot strip laminar cooling, usingtwo-dimensional finite difference method to establish the mathematical model oftemperature drop. And the initial conditions, boundary conditions and thermal propertiesof the heat transfer model are studied in detail. Using the temperature model to makes thesimulation calculation for different varieties and different specifications of the strip inwidth and thickness direction on the temperature drop process.In order to better fit the actual production, improve the temperature drop calculationprecision of the model, using the field measured data to regression calculate the aircooling heat transfer coefficient and the water cooling heat transfer coefficient. And selecttwo index self learning method to optimizing the coefficient. And analyze a variety offactors that influence the strip temperature drop. The reasonable cooling strategy is chosen.The temperature drop calculation results can satisfy the actual production requirement.The off-line simulation software use Visual Basic and C++as the programming tool, with friendly interface, convenient operation and high computation efficiency. Laminarcooling temperature model write the simulation program with C++, comprehensiveconsidering the influencing factor of the laminar cooling zone, getting detailedtemperature data. The operation interface is written with VB language, the interfaceintuitive, dynamic demonstration of the tubes opened or closed when the strip through thelaminar cooling equipment.The off-line simulation software compares the design data with the Baosteel1780mmlaminar cooling device. The equipment design is reasonable. And the simulation oftemperature drop data is accuracy. The design can satisfy the requirements of practicalapplication.
