Mechanized coal mining technology has greatly enhanced the safety and efficiency of coalmining, and provides the basis for the realization of unmanned operation. At present,China still falls behind relatively in mechanized mining technology, and the market isdivided by developed countries. Therefore, developing proprietary mechanized miningcontrol system, and filling the vacancy has been a priority. The research work in the thesisis carried out in this context.The paper aims at a feasible implementation of the central monitoring host used in coalmining hydraulic support DCS(distributed control system). First analyzed thecharacteristics and requirements of the monitoring system, described the form of the fieldnetwork and monitoring system access, on this basis proposed the system designobjectives and divided them into different modules. Then investigate the implementmethod and key technique in detail, from aspects like interface design, real-timemonitoring, Support control, automatic production, troubleshooting, etc, and present thesystem data storage design and data dictionary. And finally analysis the bus throughputrate of the monitoring system, and estimate the feasibility of the program.The research work is based on Delphi and SQL Server DBMS, using Object-OrientedProgramming methods, Multi-Threading, Windows Message Mechanism, Registry andother technology to achieve the functional requirements, using ADO technology to accessdatabase, and exception handling mechanism to improve the stability and anti-jammingcapability. In addition, the thesis also introduces thread synchronization, user management,system security design, and other related design methods used in this system, anddemonstrates the underground application in the field site.So far, the system is used in Shenhua Ningxia Coal Group, cooperated with ZE0702hydraulic support controller which is developed by Huazhong University of Science&Technology. It completes functional tests like real-time monitoring, control, data analysis,etc, running in good condition. In future, along with the promotion of industrial test andfurther improvement, the system will be more widely used.
