Cotton is the main raw material of the textile industry, accounting for50%of the world’stextile raw materials. Cotton fabric is popular with consumers and has a broad marketoutlook for its moisture, permeability, anti-static, comfort, softness, economy and otherexcellent performances. However, cotton textiles can easily discolor and age in anenvironment of humidity, poor ventilation, radiation and oxidizing, which will degrade theirperformance. Therefore, the analysis of the factors affecting the aging of cotton textiles andthe changes in performance after the aging process is very necessary.This paper has separately done some UV irradiation experiments, water soakingexperiments, burial and natural aging experiments with selected woven fabric, bleachedwoven, knitted fabric and the black woven and selected the stretch, wrinkle resistance,color and weight loss, etc. as the performance indicator of this study. Cotton textiles byaccelerating aging and taking their AS performance in the comparative analysis, usingregression analysis of the cotton textile aging changes in its wearability and its discussion ofthe life of aging.With the increase in UV irradiation time, four kinds of cotton fabrics tensile breakingstrength decreased, the largest drop character knitted fabric, woven fabric down the minimumqualities; four kinds of anti-wrinkle performance fabric, knitted fabric down the largestdecline in black woven minimum. Character qualities of woven fabric and knitted fabric colorlighter white brightness larger, lighter color of black woven larger brightness, and brightnessof bleached woven smaller brightness results added, yellow, light a few days longer, deeperyellow.Natural woven fabric with UV light by aging time, the loss rate of the tensile breakingstrength was a linear correlation; qualities of woven fabric weft, bleached woven fabrics,woven by the black, horizontal weft knitted fabric and character, vertical loss rate to thetensile breaking strength showed a power function with the relevant exposure time; ultravioletradiation aging time and character woven fabric, bleached woven fabrics, woven by black,weft knitted fabric cross, vertical crease recovery was linear correlation.With the increase in water soaking time, four cotton fabric tensile breaking strengthdecreased, water soaking36days, black woven tensile breaking strength decreased the most,the smallest decline in bleached woven fabrics; four kinds of fabrics are wrinkle resistancedecline, the largest drop character knitted fabric, woven black down minimum; four kinds of lighter color fabric, woven fabric qualities largest decline, down a black woven minimum.Aging time of water soaking and its character woven fabric tensile breaking strength bythe loss rate was a linear correlation; water soaking aging time with their qualities of wovenfabric weft, bleached woven fabrics, woven by black, weft knitting and character grayhorizontal, vertical tensile breaking strength loss rate power function related.With increasing soil burial time, four fabric tensile breaking strength decreased, thebiggest decline in knitted fabric, woven bleached down minimum. Buried with aging timecharacter woven fabric, bleached woven fabrics, woven black, its latitude and longitude to thetensile breaking strength loss rate as a power function related to the longitudinal tensilebreaking strength of knitted fabric with soil loss rate of the aging time to bury power functionrelated.With the natural environment, aging time, four fabric tensile breaking strength decreased,the largest drop character woven fabric, woven bleached down minimum; wrinkle resistancedecreased, the largest drop character knitted fabric, woven character fabric down minimum;four kinds of faded fabric, knitted fabric color qualities of the largest decline, down bleachedwoven minimum. Four kinds of fabric warp and weft tensile breaking strength and creaserecovery rate of loss rate and the natural environment into a linear relationship between theaging time-dependent.Natural woven fabric weft, bleached woven weft, black woven weft knitted fabrictransverse rupture strength loss rate dropped to50%of its own. This research reached theconclusion that the keeping conditions in a national environment are separate2671.79days,1913.42days,1405.58days and1431.88days.
