With the great progress of science and technology and the improvement of living standards, there is a complete change in the wearability of dress, people’s concerns were from the dress’s intrinsic quality including the property of durability to the dress’s exterior of new styles and colors. In recent year people began to pay attention to the dress’s comfort, and the wet comfort is one of the main domains. The issue focused on the comfort of wet fabrics in this article. The research results have practical applications, and it is able to provide relevant guidance and theoretical basis for fabric manufacturers, garment manufacturers and consumers.Based on the mass transfer theory of the porous media, the fabric structure, liquid water transfer law and the law of the process of wet evaporation of the porous media materials were analyzed in the article. It concludes that the driving force of wet evaporation of wet fabric is the concentration gradient. A fabric dynamic resistance tester, which can measures the resistance on different layers of the fabric, was designed independently, the testing principle is based on relationship between the resistance of wet fabric and moisture content of wet fabric.In the article a series of experiments by using the dynamic resistance of the fabric tester was designed. Different atmospheric conditions or the fabric specifications that affect the laws of evaporation of wet fabric were discussed. It indicates that:the resistance value of wet fabric increases with time prolonging, the moisture content of wet fabric decreases with time adding; In the initial period, moisture content of wet fabric changes rapidly, evaporation rate is larger, in the latter period, the variation of moisture content of fabric becomes flatten, and fabric specifications don’t affect the results of test. In the process of wet evaporation, the moisture content in different layers is different, there is a certain concentration gradient, it accords with Fick Diffusion Law I. The external conditions, such as temperature and humidity, and the performance of the fabric, such as raw materials, density, thickness, will affect the evaporation rate and time. At the same time, a set of indexes for evaporation capacity of the wet fabric was proposed and they can evaluate the evaporation ability comprehensively, the indexes not only can analyze the wet fabric evaporation performance at the different layers of fabric, but also can determine the difference between the different fabric’s wet evaporation performance.In the article a series of physical experiments of the wet feeling was designed, the relationship between the subjective feeling of human body and the fabric type, density and other parameters were researched.it was analyzed the correlation between moisture content of the wet test based on resistance method and the physical experiments of subjective wet feeling were analyzed, and it shows that both of them have higher relationship. It indicates that moisture content of the wet test based on resistance method accords with the actual situation, and verifies reasonability of the design of the dynamic resistance of the fabric tester.
