Moisture absorption is an important factor in Chinese traditional medicine extract powder and the quality of prescription formulations, Especially containing polysaccharides and saponins extract of powder, hygroscopicity seems particularly outstanding. Therefore, this article chooses hygroscopic strong Chinese medicine extracts powder as the research object, through the modification technology to reduce the moisture absorption of the extract powder and its preparation, and to improve the critical relative humidity of the drug, thereby improving the quality of traditional Chinese medicine and its preparation.The compatibility of Astragalus and Coptis has a good effect in the treatment of enteritis, the ancient books,"The drawers of material medica", there are records, but the extract powder that extract of the two herbs have a strong moisture absorption, in the air for a moment that bonded into a group. Therefore the prescription is regard as a model in this paper, through the modification technology to maximize the reduction of the moisture absorption of the extract powder and preparation. The main contents are as follows:Taking the Berberine, Astragaloside dry extract yield a composite score as the evaluation index,using the orthogonal test to optimize the water extraction process,to determine the best process for:12times the amount of water to soak for30min, heated under reflux for2times, each time2h.At the modified moistureproof stage, mixing the extract powder with10most commonly used accessories in preparations, in temperature25℃, relative humidity72.5%placed under the environment of the seven days,intervals weighing, then drawing moisture absorption curve, taking moisture absorption characteristics parameters as the evaluation index, to filter the moistureproof types of modified agents and dosage.Taking the forming rate as a index, making the preferred accessories and extract powder granulation, via the inspection of hygroscopicity to determine the optimum process for the extract powder and mixing excipients (MCC: lactose=1:1.5) ratio of1:1.Further coated with HPMC on the particle to moistureproof.The results show a marked improvement of the hygroscopic properties of the coated particle parameters, the critical relative humidity, and mobility.And studing on the traits, TLC, determination of intermediates and particulate of the Astragalus and Coptis by HPMC,then to establish the quality standards.
