High Purity aluminum foils are the key raw materials of high voltage electrolytic capacitors. Since the aluminum foils for high voltage anode materials were subjected to DC electrochemical etching, tunnel growth of etch pits with the<100> crystallographic grain during corrosion were achieved, which were required for high capacitance, thus the high volume fraction of cube texture for the aluminum foils is side to be the prerequisite to high capacitance. In order to obtain the stronger cube texture{001}<100>, many researches on the texture formation in this field have been made, especially in recent years. However all of the achievements are obtained under the condition of symmetrical rolling. In this thesis, the behavior of micro-orientation flow of high purity aluminum foils by cross shear rolling was studied in order to make further acquaintance to the texture of the high purity aluminum foils. In this thesis, the high purity aluminum sheet provided by ZhongHe Aluminum Manufacture Factory of Xinjiang was cold rolled and subsequently annealed by different technological methods. The X-ray texture analysis were performed for various specimens, and the micro-textures analysis was performed by EBSD, combining the results of different parts, the effects of several technological parameters on the textures and microstructures of high purity aluminum foils by cross shear rolling were discussed to some extent. The research results show that there are some differences of the cold rolling texture between symmetrical and asymmetrical rolling. Under asymmetrical rolling, the cold rolling texture was formed mainly by S{123}<634>, C{112}<111> and B{011}<211>; however, S{123}<634> and C{112}<111> were the major components under symmetrical rolling. Under asymmetrical rolling, with the reduction increasing, the texture S{123}<634> and C{112}<111> have the same changing trends but different volumes, so are the texture cube{001}<100>and {001}<110>. The texture Goss keeps low volume no matter how reduction and speed of ratio change. The volume will increase obviously with a proper speed of ratio, but we can get the perfect result only when both reduction and speed of ratio are proper. From the results, we find out that samples are the most proper when the speed ratios are1.06or1.13and reduction is95%.
