As a technique of finishing, straightening has been more and more important. Today it has been a necessary part of industry. Particularly in recent years, with the development of society straightening technique obtained quick developing and more extensive use because people pay more attentions to quality and precision of their products. In order to improve the straightening precision, the designed roller number of straightening machine are more and more.In recent years, the development of iron and steel industry is vigorous, and the demand for round-steel is rising sharply. But in the process of rolling, forging and drawing, due to forcing, uneven cooling and heating or transportation and stacking, round-steel will produce bending and distortion in different degree, or internal residual stress, which will affect the quality of finished products. Therefore, these defects are necessary to be eliminated in production via straightening.Cross roll straightening machine applies to straightening bars. It has many advantages, such as its simple structure, convenient operation and high straightening precision. In this paper, research on structural parameters and technics parameters of φ8-32mm bar straightening machine. Structural parameters mainly refers to the roll design, But both the current roll shape theories and the processes of the calculation are complicate. As a result, the efficiency of the roller designing is low, and the cycle of the producing is long. Most of the roller were obtained through the design with free hand or using the empircal formula. In this paper, using Moving oval to design Hyperbolic contour interval and using Scanning cut method to design Anti-bending form of single rate. And study affect precision straightening of the process parameters of bar straightening machine,inciuding roll angle, intermesh, straightening speed and so on. Based on the modified roll shape theory, the thesis develops the integrated system about the design of the bar straightening machine, utilizing the function of the SolidWorks API and Visual Basic.The system is helpful to change the status about designing the roller shape with free hand currently, integrates the calculation on the design of roller shapeand creation on the module of the roller shape as a whole, saves the human cost, and shortens development cycle of the bar straightening machine...
