Nowadays,with the rapid development of national economy,nickel,this multi-functional metal materials are applied by more and more industry.At present,the production of nickel in the world is mainly based on electrolytic refining method,the current flows through the electrolytic tank to the conductive rod,and then flows to the seed plate through the shell lug.However,in the use of the conductive rod bending deformation often occurs for load,beat and other reasons.The use of bending deformation of the conductive rod will affect the nickel electrolytic efficiency and the degree of product automation of initial piece,seriously safety accidents will happen,so the conductive rod must be straightened again before use.Now in domestic exist a special straightening machine for pipe bar,but this straightening machine is not accepted by most of the enterprises for low precision straightening,unstable straightening quality,straightening blind area's existence and other reasons.Rotary bevel type roller straightening machine is a new type of straightening device,it can be used to straighten the conductive rod,However,the rotary bevel type roller straightening machine can't well meet the actual production needs for structural parameters setting,process parameters adjustment and other reasons.In this paper,the rotary bevel type roller straightening machine was the research object.By using a single-rotating hub straightening machine to experiment 50 electric nickel conductive rods randomly and measuring the straightness before and after straightening so as to find out the defects of this kind of straightening machine,on the basis of this the design and improvement were carried out.This paper analyzes the deformation distribution of the plastic zone in the bending of metal strengthening pipe by the metal elastic-plastic bending theory,establishes the pipe bending curvature ratio equation and the bending moment ratio,and derives the pipe bending energy ratio range and accuracy.In the basis of working principle of the single rotary hub type straightening machine,the simplified mechanical model and the bending deflection of the double rotary hub straightening machine are obtained.The advantages of straightening are analyzed,the roller arrangement is designed.The structure parameters such as roll distance,roller shape and the technological parameters such as straightening speed and roller bevel are calculated.The finite element analysis software Deform 3D was used to simulate and dynamically observe the straightening process of the conductive rod from the bite to stable straightening to smooth out.The equivalent stress distribution and conductive rod straightness after straightening during straightening process were emphatically analyzed and researched.The effects of the rotating hub direction,the material pulling speed difference and the screw lead on the straightening affection were respectively studied by using the single variable method.This paper combined experimental analysis and finite element simulation studied conductive bar straightening process,designed the double rotating hub straightening machine by combining the shortage of the single rotating hub type straightening machine,researched the straightening of the specific parameters on the effects of the straightening,and provided a theoretical basis for the design of Double Rotating Hub Straightening Machine and actual straightening,which has certain practical value and guiding significance.
