In recent years, the geochemical analysis as the key supportingtechnology will face great opportunities and challenge with thedevelopment of geological work and project initiation of Multi-purposeRegional Geochemical Survey(MRGS).To keep with the requirementsfrom regional mapping and eco-geochemical assessment, newmeasurement techniques and methods with higher accuracy and highprecision need to be developed. In order to ensure the quality of analysis,a systematic analytical methodologies with XRF, ICP-OES(MS) andAAS has been established.As everyone knows,XRF is a kind of simple, nondestructive, fastanalysis speed, good reproducibility and other characteristics,simultaneous multi-element determination, has been widely used ingeological, metallurgical, chemical, cement and other fields. Especiallyin the geochemical prospecting geological sample analysis has beenwidely used. In order to give full play to the X ray fluorescence analysisin big investigation of land natural resources function, we try to use thepowder sample preparation, the new generation of instrument to carryout a number of projects analysis.Based on the X ray fluorescence spectroscopy studies, analyticalmethods, determine the conditions of measurement, standard sample,measurement data and the detection limit, precision and accuracy were analyzed. The results show that the measurement result is accurate, theindicators have reached the requirements of the industry standard(Thespecification of testing quality management for geological laboratories).The method has the advantages of measuring component, lessreagent, short analysis time, low labor intensity and easy operation.It issuitable for the matrix components in complex geological sampleanalysis. This method may be used by other rock and mineral samples ofrelated components’ analysis. This method has been used in our unit ofregional geochemical survey project, the data is accurate, reliable andmapping effect is very good.
