The water which was got form the Fuyang River in HanDan,was used in the experimental study.The combination of "Coagulating Sedimentation+Circulating Filtering Media BAF" was used to treat wastewater in a pilot plant.PAC,aluminum sulfate,ferric sulfate,as coagulant,was contrasted by coagulation experiments in the beakers.The results showed that,PAC is the best coagulant,and with the optimal dosage of25mg/L,The removal of CODMn and turbidity,could be30%and69%,respectively.With a small flow rate on biofilm accumulation in this experiment,the biofilms was growing in the ten days.The optimal height of filter media of CODMn removal was different from that of NH4+-N removal in the biological aerated filter.When the height of the filter bed reached90cm,along influent direction,the active layers of carbonation heterotrophic bacteria and nitrobacteria were0-50cm and50-90cm in the reactor, respectively.The best hydraulic loading was5m/h from the comprehensive analysis with hydraulic loading,filter height,volume loading,the effect with backwash, and theeconomic cost;The optimal height of filterUnder the same conditions,the volume loading changed from high to low,and the removal rate of COD and ammonia by biofilter increased with the treatment time.In first,the air scour alone was proceed,then bio-reactor as reclaimed water was used.Finally,washed separately.The result showed,the effect on pollutant removal performance by was small.The filter would return to normal performance after4h of backwash.Derived dynamic model of the biological aerated filter to remove organic matter,the establishment of organic matter degradation mathematical equations.The sewage treatment effect for Fuyang River with the process of "Coagulating Sedimentation+Circulating Filtering Media BAF"was got in the experiments.All the indicators are almost very good processing performance,but the poor treatment effect on total nitrogen. After126h with normal operation of the combined process,the turbidity,CODMn ammonia nitrogen, chroma,UV254, and total nitrogen removal of the water was99.2%,85.7%,98.3%,97.8%,74.6%,13.2%,respectively.
