At present, most basin of our country exist the different degree of water pollution, comprehensive considerating factors of water quality and water, implementation of the total pollutant control system and management of transboundary pollution are increasingly important. However, many river pollution gross control measures are often due to these elements, such as pollutant fluxes uncertainty, pollutant abatement proportion is unreasonable and so on, making difficult to implement a lot of pollution control measures effectively, and often less effective. Therefore, quantitative riverine fluxes of pollutants, grasp the pollutant characteristics of temporal and spatial distribution, contribute to the total control of pollutants in-depth, pollutants reduction cross border disputes, is the important premise of pollution control and decision making.At present, most rivers often use the month as the cycle frequency monitoring data to estimate the flux of pollutants, and the calculation methods are diversity, the calculation results are often vary considerably. Based on comprehensive elaboration about domestic and foreign river material flux and related formulas, using1980Xinjiang northern rivers flow and suspended sediment concentration data, estimating the river sediment flux, analysing the river sediment flux of the annual variation and its influencing factors, more in-depth study the uncertainty of flux estimation method and load duration curve method, and further discussing the uncertainty, the applicability of the conventional flux estimation method and the flux estimation method based on LDC. Based on the load duration curve of flux estimation method can accurately estimate the pollutant fluxes in Xinjiang River, providing new ideas for the riverine pollutants fluxes research in Xinjiang rivers, providing the theory basis for the reality work about pollution prevention and control, having certain academic significance and application value.
