Study On River Health Evaluation About Nanchang Section Of Ganjiang River

With the rapid development of the economy, the accelerating process of urbanization and the rapid expansion of the population, the interference of human to the river has been increasing, the river health problem becomes increasingly salient and has attracted wide attention in the global world. The premise of the protection and restoration of the river is must first to judge and evaluate whether the river is in a healthy state, thus, evaluation of river health is increasingly becoming a research hotspot.This thesis conducts research on river health evaluation about Nanchang section of Ganjiang River, explores a set of river health evaluation index system, evaluation criteria and evaluation method suitable for Nanchang section of Ganjiang River, the main results and conclusions are as follows:(1) An comprehensive overview of the research progress at home and abroad about the connotation of river health and river health assessment, summarizing the major international methods of river health evaluation, and analyzing the main problems and trends in current river health assessment study.(2) The river situation of Ganjiang River and Ganjiang Nanchang section is briefly introduced, through the analysis of the importance of Ganjiang River to Nanchang City in water supply, irrigation, drainage, flood control, shipping, leisure, and other aspects, the necessity and urgency to research the river health of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River is pointed out.(3) The definition of healthy Ganjiang River is put forward, the river health evaluation index system of Ganjiang Nanchang section consisted of21evaluation indicators is established. The river health evaluation criteria of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River is determined, the river health level of Ganjiang Nanchang section is divided into five levels-"very healthy, healthy, sub-healthy (critical state), morbid disease". The AHP-comprehensive index evaluation model to evaluate the river health status of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River is established, which can organicly combine the analytic hierarchy process and the comprehensive index evaluation method.(4) Through collecting the data of the present situation to determine the current single evaluation index values and their health level. Using the AHP-comprehensive index evaluation model to evaluate the river health status of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River, the conclusion is that the river ecological water demand guarantee rate, water function area water quality standard rate and water resources development and utilization are the most important factors to influence the river health of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River, and the river health comprehensive evaluation index is calculated to be3.5153, this value indicates that the river health overall level of Ganjiang Nanchang section is between sub-healthy to healthy. Analyzing the the results of the river health evaluation about Nanchang section of Ganjiang River, pointing out the river health problems that Nanchang section of Ganjiang River is facing, putting forward suggestions for the protection and restoration of Nanchang section of Ganjiang River.
