Vegetationrestoration goal is to build a stable health of vegetation communities, so as to achieverecovery of ecological environment, improve the environment effect, therefore the inthe work of woodlands return, make the recovery of forest has the similar structureand function of ecological system stability to natural forest is the most important. Butevaluating the health of the vegetation and the ecological functioning of degree, youcan’t just look at the surface coverage, the structure of the forest land is moreimportant, especially the structure of the under root system. the root is the mostimportant plant absorbing moisture and nutrients nutrition organs, the form anddistribution directly reflects the plant body health, play a crucial role on plant growth,and affect plant protection ability to drought stress.This study closely combining the vegetation restoration technology need, choosethe north of vegetation restoration work common tree species-arborvitae as theresearch object, explore the nutritive bowl breeding seedling, the seed-base breedingseedling in sufficient moisture, mild water stress, severe water stress condition rootmorphology and configuration changes and the cause of the difference of the produceand collect the root system configuration characteristic and growth information, set upthe arborvitae tree species root system configuration, decide strong stable theformation mechanism of root system. Through the observation of the plate with thenutritive bowl breeding seedling and the seed-base breeding seedling in three differentmoisture conditions of biomass index, And the determinate, analyzes the difference ofthe root morphology and configuration, get the following main conclusion 1.
