Due to the comprehensive mechanized mining intensity great, production concentration,the speed of promotion quickly, a large area of goaf formed. A lot of gas gathered in the goafand often cause gas tail-entries in working face and back to romantic (especially in the uppercorner),this severely restrict the safety of mine production.In the paper summed up the control method of the upper corner gas which used presentcommonly, and realized drainaging goaf gas is an important way to prevent the gas of the uppercorner accumulation. Discussed the buried pipes, gas from the alley, high lane in detail, usingnumerical simulation software and similar material simulation experiment simulated the threedrainage methods and get the pictures of romantic distribution in the goaf. Through to comparewith the pictures that the ventilation is normal in mined-out area, find the gas drainage led toexpand the range of air leakage in goaf. The air provides enough oxygen for the coal that leftbehind in the goaf, expanding the scope of spontaneous combustion oxidation, greatly increasedthe risk of spontaneous combustion in goaf.In view of the shortcomings of that three gas treatment method, put forward the newmeasures that setting with filling in goaf, put special gas drainage duct in the upper corner, andcarried out the similar material simulation experiment. Finally found: decorating with filling ingoaf, the goaf was divided into two parts, reduce the gas that gushed out to the working facefrom the goaf, also the scope of the oxidation zone has been narrowed, so the coal combustionwas controlled effectively. Setting special gas drainage duct in the working face that close to theupper corner, drainage the high concentrations of gas in this area, reduced the gas concentrationin upper corner. In the case of meeting the working face and personnel need, by reducing thevolume to reduce the differential pressure between the both ends of mining face, finallyprevented the gas accumulation in upper corner, reduced the goaf spontaneous combustiondisaster, has the very high application value of popularization...
