Rock burst is a kind of mine complex dynamic phenomenen, and seriously threaten mine safe production. Research shows that geological dynamic conditions such as plate motion, geological structures, tectonic valley and terrain curvature control rock burst.Through the research on the plate motion, topography, regional tectonic, find out the space and time state of geological structure and tectonic block of Yuejin mine area.Ⅰ-Ⅴ level active faults are determined by method of geological dynamic regionalization trend surface, what’s more, construct tectonic activity grillage, and determine the acute location of the active faults complementary with drawing method. Using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, comprehensivly considering the factors of the bursting of the faults length and the angle of maximum principal stress and faults and so on, compute the activity of the active faults divided at all levels. Concluded that37rock bursts happen in mine field,36of them are in effect area of strong active faults, taking up97.30%. Strong active faults are controlling factors to rock burst in mine field.The active faults affect the stress of rock, and through the influence of rock stress distribution affect the happening of rock burst. Rock stress computing results shows that in faults formation and development process, increasing stress areas and stress gradient areas are formating, and rock bursts happen in these areas, and it provides motive condition for rock bursts. Decreasing stress areas do not have the condition of rock burst.
