Coal seam of5-2s caving face of second mine in Hong-miao mine has spontaneous tendencyof combustion, through monitoring with harmful gas in the return airway, during a long time wefound the CO concentration is excessive, it seriously affect safe production of the mine,emission rules of CO and its management has become an urgent problem to be solved.Aiming at this problem, this paper used FTIR-TENSOR27、TG/DAT-STA449C in the safetylaboratory of Liaoning Technical University, through studying on the far-ir spectroscopycharacteristics of the signal gase of the coal sample in5-2s working face with the programtemperature simulation and the Fourier transform infrared spectral analysis method, it got thegeneral temperature range of gaseous production from the coal under low temperature oxidationsuch as H2O、CO2、CO、CH4、C2H4; It explored concentration and temperature relationship ofgas from coal sample under low-temperature oxidation spontaneous combustion. It establishedthe spontaneous combustion index gas system with CO for main index gas and C2H4forauxiliary. The results are important for understanding of5-2s work face coal seam spontaneouscombustion characteristic and guiding the monitoring of spontaneous combustion in goaf and thepredicting of spontaneous combustion.Based on qualitative, quantitative analysis of CO in primitive coal of5-1,5-2,5-3coal seamof Hong-miao mine, it concludes that there is primitive CO in5-1,5-2,5-3coal seam, andcalculates the original quantity. Through monitoring CO in5-2S return airway we get theaverage49ppm, predic value of CO ontology emission is16.21ppm, by which can we concludethat oxidation produced33ppm. Finally this paper gives reasonable suggestions for themanagement of CO in the back flow in Hong-miao mine, and it provides technical support forsafety mining of5-2s working surface in Hong-miao coal mine.
