With the application and promotion of numerical simulation in the study of the coal mining subsidence, the selection of overburden rock mechanical parameters is very important. Laboratory and field tests are often used to obtain the mechanical parameters of rock, however, these mechanical parameters unable to fully reflect the nature of the rock within the mining area. Numerical simulation results vary greatly compared with the actual results and unable to reflect the objective laws of the mining subsidence, based on these mechanical parameters of rock. It is a fast and reliable method that back analysis of rock mechanics parameters based on the deformation monitoring data of mining area. This method can provide parameters for numerical simulation of the mining of coal under the building, railway and water, with good economic and social benefits. In order to solve the problem of back analysis of rock mechanics parameters, the paper based on the monitoring data of1672E stations of Qianjiaying Kailuan mine, using FLAC3D to establish three-dimensional model of mining area for numerical simulation, applying the method of orthogonal experiment combined whit numerical simulation, so as to back analysis the mechanics parameters of rocks and the results showed good accordance with the monitoring data.
