With the improvement of industrial technology and living standard as the result of rapid development of modern industry, plastic products, light in weight and low in price, have developed swiftly and been widely used in many industries, including modern machinery, aviation, automobiles, communications, electronics and pharmaceutical industry.During the injection molding of practical production, affected by many complex factors, the mold designer could not predict the defects possibly emerging in the molds. A series of adjustments, like testing and modifying molds, and improving craft conditions, must be made before putting molds into production, which can not meet the fast production.This subject, employing the often used mold software, CAE—moldflow, imitated the process of flowing, pressure maintaining and cooling after molten plastic entering the cavity according to the original design, predicted the possible defects of the mold and analyzed the reason and solution.This essay took the planer saw housing products of the X Power Tools Company as the basic study case, chose ABS HF380of the LG Company as the material, analyzed the software Moldfolw through moldflow, determined the best mold and processing parameters, and improved the parameters and the products quality by comparing with and analyzing the original parameters. The study results put forward the reasonable injection molding proposals towards the electronic planer saw housing products produced by the company and had important guiding significance to the practical production. Meanwhile, it designed and probed a practical method to the complex plastic injection mold by analysis through the software of moldflow.
