Intelligent heat-sensitive polymer is a kind of polymer materials that have takenplace beforehand response by outside temperature changes.Thermal dimming polymermaterials and thermochromic polymer materials are two basic types, because of lowproduction cost, convenient, energy saving and environmental protection,it is no doubtthat the study of environmentally friendly materials is a beneficial attempt.This paper researchs intelligent dimming polymer materials by measuringtransition temperature and color temperature of different solution, to choose goodformula with various performance indicators as the next research object, and considerthe practical performance of best formula materials, Such as light resistance, heatresistance, freeze-thaw resistance, resistance to recycle performance etc.Finally, thismaterial is made of thermal dimmer glass, through the homemade analogue devices,investigating actual shading cooling effect of thermal dimmer glass material,andpreliminarily discussing the mechanism of the formula material.For intelligentthermochromic polymer materials, this paper chooses polyvinyl alcohol as discolorationmaterials monomer, boric acid as crosslinking agent and reagent, investigating differentmonomer concentration, crosslinking agent content and several different inorganic salt,and prepares a thermochromic material, and studies the synthetic conditions on thestructure and performance influence on thermochromic material.Experimental results show that the best formula of intelligent dimming polymermaterials for: Poly (ethylene glycol) content for1.2g, N, N ’the methylene doubleacrylamide content for0.05g, PAM content for0.4g, Polymer A content for0.05mL.The transition temperature of best formula is22℃, the discoloration temperature is29℃, through rate changes between81%and2%, low temperature transparent, hightemperature milky white uniform, so it is the best dimming material. Through practicalperformance analysis of the best formula, the results show that the materials have goodresistance to light, heat resistant as practical performance.Through the homemadesimulation device, investigating the shading of cooling effect of the best formulamaterials,experiments have been found that the highest temperature difference betweeninternal and external of glass box interlayer for the thermal dimmer materials is higher 6.7℃than blank of indoor and outdoor of glass box, obviously stopping temperaturerising, shading cooling effect apparently. For intelligent thermochromic polymermaterials, the best formula for: Cresol red ration for0.001g, quality of Cresol red andboric acid for1:80, Polyvinyl alcohol concentration for4%, quality of Boric acid andsodium hydroxide for2:1, the inorganic salts MgCl2for0.03g.Transition temperatureof the best formula is48℃, the discoloration temperature is70℃. Through practicalperformance analysis of the best formula, the materials have practical performance,such as good light resistance, heat resistance, reversible, color degeneration.
