Based on the leading structure of neonicotinoids compounds in our group which contained pyrrole and dihydropyrrole and had excellent activities, chlorothiazole and trifluoromethylpyridine heterocycle were introduced and replaced chloro-pyridine of neonicotinoids according to biological isosteric principle. Novel pyrrole and dihydropyrrole compounds were designed and36products were obtaind. And all the synthesized compounds were confirmed by NMR, HRMS and IR spectroscopy.The insecticidal activities of all synthesized compounds were tested on four respresentative insects including Aphic craccivora, Nilaparvata lugens, Spodoptera litura and Tetranychus cinnabarinus. The results of biological activities tests showed that two series of compounds had good or excellet activities on Aphic craccivora and Nilaparvata lugens. Compound A1-1, A1-2and A1-3exhibited a considerable insecticidal activity on Aphis craccivora with cycloxaprid. Compound A4-2exhibited insecticidal activities on Nilaparvata lugens with the mortality50%at0.8mg L-1. Two series of compounds didn’ t exhibit insecticidal activities on Spodoptera litura and Tetranychus cinnabarinus.
