Solar photovoltaic cell is easily affected by heat, light, oxygen, water and other natural factors during its use, which cause photo-electric conversion rate decline or even failure. As an important encapsulating material of photovoltaic battery, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) should have fine encapsulating and anti-aging properties. In this paper, functional composite EVA films filled with Al2O3were prepared, as well as the encapsulating and anti-aging performance were studied. Different formulas of functional composite EVA films were prepared by melt blending, and the influence of various components and processing technology on the EVA films cross-linking degree and peeling strength were investigated. The peeling strength and yellow index of the EVA composite films were discussed after thermal-oxidative artificial aging, and the affecting factors of thermal-oxidative aging of the EVA films were also compared. The results show that the cross-linking degree, peeling strength and resistance to thermal oxidative of the EVA composite film are affected by Al2O3. Cross-linking, peeling strength and resistance to thermal oxidative of the EVA films are improved by adding appropriate content of cross-linking and coupling agent. With cross-linking degree of EVA film rises, the greater peeling strength and the thermal-oxidative anti-aging of the EVA film. With the increasing of curing time and temperature, the cross-linking degree and peeling strength of EVA film increase firstly and then decrease. The cross-linking degree of EVA film is reduced by small diameter of Al2O3and short mixing time. The resistance of EVA film to thermal oxygen is improved by adding antioxidants, there is a synergy between antioxidants and light stabilizer.
