Supramolecular chemistry is a new and promising subject. The types of organicligands containing carboxyl category are usually, nitrogen containing heterocyclicligands and N、O multi-ligands. In the past few decades, carboxylic acid ligand of itsstrong coordination ability and coordination of diversity by extensive studies ofchemical workers and a study on the synthesis and supramolecular chemistry ofseveral nitrogen-containing hetero-cyclic compounds were carried out in thisdissertation. This paper carried out on the organic carboxylic acid and nitrogencontaining complexes general conditions synthesis and crystal engineering studies tocommon organic carboxylic acid ligands object of study, mainly in the generalconditions synthesis technology, by adjusting the reactions to a series ofsupramolecular complexes. Use a single crystal diffraction X-ray, elemental analysis,IR and TGA, summarizes supramolecular complexes synthesis in hydrogen bondsmode land the resulting complexes for the preliminary study of nature. The mainresults are summarized as follows:In chapter1, the concepts and principles of crystal engineering andsupramolecular chemistry were simply introduced. Reviews on the background andsignificances of hydrogen bonding interactions and supramolecular synthons that arerelated with this thesis were also briefly made.In chapter2, by changing the solvents, co-ligands and synthesis method, a fruitful series of complexes (from1to2)(1)[(C7H6O3)·(C4H6N2O20.5](2)[(C7H6O4)·(C4H6N2O20.5]with structural diversity have been prepared with glycine anhydride as major ligand.Among the results, some of them are full of challenges.In chapter3, under general conditions,with4,4’-methylenedianiline with tri-fold shape3-4have been prepared:(3)[(C13H12N22+)·(C9H9O5-)·(C9H8N5-)·2H2O](4)[(C8H8O4)·(C13H14N2)]They were carried out structural analysis and characterization, and explore the effect ofhydrogen bonds and supramolecular synthons in their structures.In chapter4, as a good participant for co-crystallization, tetrafluoroterephthalicacid was synthesized and used to the formation of cocrystals with imidazole,o-phenanthroline,2-aminopyrimidine,3-hydroxypyridine and2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole. Compounds5-10(5)[(C3H5N2+)·(C8HF4O4-)](6)[(C12H9N2+)·(C8F4O42-)0.5·(C8H2F4O40.5](7)[(C12H8N2)·(C8H2F4O4)·H2O](8)[(C4H6N3+)·(C8F4O42-)0.5·(C8H2F4O40.5](9)[(C5H6NO+)·(C8F4O42-)0.5](10)[(C12H8N4O)·(C8H2F4O4)]were yield successfully with structural determination on the basis oftetrafluoroterephthalic acid, which offer important structural information to the studyof related coordination complexes and enrich the supramolecular chemistry on otherhalogen substituted analogue.
