The thesis analyzes the structure and movement of the new planet agitator, its mainstructure is composed by the anchor agitator as a planet gear frame, and two of theagitator paddles are installed with two planet impellers respectively. Its mechanicalenergy is passed to the fluid during the mixing time, planet impellers are resistanced bythe fluid to around the counter shaft respectively. The new planet agitator with theturbine, propelled, anchor and drum agitator in the same diameter ratio, the same awayfrom the surface at different distances and different speed conditions compared study isfound that as the speed increasing, agitator torque value decreases gradually, when thespeed is200~250r/min, each agitator torque value reaches a minimum value, withagitator speed continues to increase, the torque value increases gradually, when theagitator generated the vortex, and the vortex not affects the agitator, then the distanceof agitator from level has little effect on torque value, planet agitator torque value issmaller than the anchor and cylinder agitator, but greater than the turbine and propelleragitator; under the same experimental condition all the power of the agitators withspeed increasing, planet agitator power is less than the anchor and drum agitator, butgreater than the turbine and propeller agitator; under the same experimental condition,the agitator power number increasing with reynolds number, the final trend agrees, andplanet agitator power number is minimum, meaning the minimum energy consumption;from the mixing time and the mixing time number can be seen planet agitator mixingrate is faster than the turbine the propeller agitators; from the relative efficiency ofmixing number can be seen planet agitator is small compared to the other two kindagitators, the mixing efficiency is higher compared to the other two kind agitators. Inthis thesis a new planet agitator and other types of agitator for comparative study,proving that combined agitator in the mixing process can get a good mixing effect,forother types of combined agitator research have a certain reference value.
