In reeling process with fixed number of cocoons, center range of mixing cocoons is the basis of mixing cocoons. Designing center range of mixing cocoons have direct effect on quality of raw silk, using of raw material cocoons and production efficiency. So it is an important design objective in process design of reeling process with fixed number of cocoons. In past theory of reeling process with fixed number of cocoons, researchers paid more attention to influence to quality guideline such as size deviation, but neglecting the questions of using of raw material cocoons and production efficiency, especially harmonious consumption of cocoons. In fact, if we can't design reasonable center range of mixing cocoons, unharmonious using of cocoons must induce a waste of cocoons or quality reduction, which don't consist with the objective of silk reeling engineering management. Therefore, it is necessary to perfecting designing theory of center range of mixing cocoons. In this paper, based on the establishment of the probability model and computer simulation experiment, we discussed following three questions by building and analyzing probability models.â… : Based on the distribution of cocoon number of different two cocoon layers during reeling process with fixed number of cocoons, we got the theory of designing of the center range in accordance with three principles: harmonious consumption, size deviation of produced silk and labor intensity of workers. And we also discussed the relationship between designing center range of mixed cocoons and characteristics of cocoons, technology of workers.â…¡: We built a new probability model of reeling process with fixed number cocoons. In this model, the cocoon filament was differentiated into three parts: outer layer filament, middle layer filament and inner layer filament.
