More and more aerosol fire extinguishing agent widely used in different fields, because of the high fire ability which can fire in a total flooding way, and it has a friendly environment, under ordinary conditions of storage and without pressure device and so on. According to the related literature and the fire extinguishing mechanism, this paper designs a set of formulas which have high fire fighting ability and high corrosion resistance, and according to these formulas for different performance testing experiments, a characterization to fire ability verifies the different factors on the combustion performance and agent storage performance influence.The formulation of the fire agent has an important influence on the performance of the agent, In order to design the best formula, which from the selection of raw material, especially oxidizing agent. The compound agent mainly choose the Sr-salt and a small amount of K-salt in this paper and take strontium salt as the main oxidant and potassium salt as the auxiliary oxidant. At the same time, This paper makes a few groups of K type aerosol fire extinguishing agent to be compared; and takes the guanidine nitrate as Combustible agent to make up of different formulas. The design of the formula for each dosage was calculated, and the performance parameters of the agent was recorded which including the injection time,fire time, residue ratio and so on. Experiments show that: K type aerosol fire extinguishing agent is serious to the Cu plate, it makes the color be clear green, S type agent makes Cu plate and color change is not obvious, so K type aerosol fire extinguishing agent is not suitable for precision space engineering application. S type aerosol fire extinguishing agent has the advantage of corrosion resistance, and fire fighting capacity is higher, which can be widely used in engineering application.After selecting a few appropriate groups of formulas, This paper takes13#as the best formula, and makes some different performance tests. The results show that the best raw material particle size is80-100mesh, and with the increase of the pressure charge density, burning rate is decreasing; when the ratio of Sr (NO3) to KNO3is1.4:5.0.Its extinguishing concentration is95g/m3,spray time is42s,and Cu board has no obvious changing in color, Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to analysis cladding stearic agent, found that after coating, the hygroscopic increment and residual incremental of the agent are significantly reduced, makes the agent dispersion uniform; Through some mechanical sensitivity tests to the agent, the result showed that the formula of the agent of the friction sensitivity and impact sensitivity is very low, also improves storage performance of the agent.Some experiments on different formulas of the fire agent, it is concluded that thermal decomposition and thermal weight loss of the different agents. To gas phase, solid phase and residue of the fire product, we did Fourier Infrared Spectrum and obtained the main ingredients of the gas phase and solid phase.
