Nowadays, the carbon emission is a more serious problem in China. According comparative analysis of the carbon emissions at home and abroad, we observe that Chinese total emissions, per capita emissions and emissions intensity are above the world average. Therefore, the carbon emission factor research and reduction potential studying are had a highly theoretical and practice policy. By comparing several factor analysis methods, we consider the Laspeyres model of index decomposition analysis method as a theoretical theory.Then, through the factor decomposition, improvement and refinement, we select the different energy intensity in the different regions and industries.Firstly, we find that the energy intensity of different industries in China has a large difference, and then including the proportion of different industries in the national economy, we calculate the influencing proportion of total carbon emission in the different industries. By clustering the Chinese industries, there are major manage industry of carbon emission, sustained attention industry of carbon emission and safety controlled industry of carbon emission. As to the different production mode, energy structure, product nature and industry attribution in the different industries, the comparison among different industries is unconvincing. So, we consider energy efficiency of the same industry in different regions as an independent variable, and energy efficiency of the optimal region as a reference variable, and then calculate the emission reduction potential. With the development of our industry production, and under the energy management improving of optimal region, we have the ability to achieve40%-45%carbon emissions in per unit of GDP reduction in2020. At the same time, with the difference of geographical conditions and human environment, China’s provinces are divided into North China, South China, Northeast China, Southwest China, Northwest China and Central China region. We select the highest value of industrial energy efficiency as a reference value, and then we estimate regional carbon emission potential. It is a more realistic situation that we measure the industrial emission potential. According to the different industry constructions, we estimate emission reduction potential in the area classification. Finally, we estimate that the ability of carbon emission goes to weak decoupling situation in recent years by decoupling model. In the conclusion, our carbon emission reduction is achieved a certain effect, and we should intensify the achievements.
