Groundwater is one of the most precious wealth of mankind. It plays a veryimportant role in industrial and agricultural production. There is not abundantgroundwater resource in china, and Man-made destruction phenomenon is serious, sogroundwater resources increasingly tense. Groundwater resource is one of theimportant guarantees for the sustainable development of China’s economy. So, wecarry out the work about continuous monitoring groundwater is very necessary, butalso very urgent because of it can protect and manage groundwater resourcesreasonably.We always adopt the way of manual monitoring in Groundwaterinvestigation,but this method will bring great workload, inaccurate data, difficultiesof data processing and other problems. Now automatic monitoring instrument is usedin the developed regions and departments, it improves the ability of groundwatermonitoring.With the development of society and economy, strengthen the construction ofgroundwater automatic monitoring system is very necessary. Now the groundwatermonitoring instrument of foreign developed countries occupied most of the domesticmarket. There is a big gap between the domestic and foreign instrument. But lots ofdomestic instrument have received high praise because of their low price. Forexample,“Groundwater dynamic automatic monitor (WS1040)” has been used inmany major projects and has received high praise. Because of the long-termapplication of instrument,there are a lot of problems about the instrument. Forexample water entering the instrument, the instrument can not be connected to thehost computer, error reading data and the stability of the instrument and data accuracycan not be guaranteed. The user can not replace the battery after it runs out, also itneed to return to the factory, so it bring a lot of work.In view of the groundwater investigation current development status at home andabroad, this paper improves the hardware and software system of WS-1040, designs more stable automatic monitoring instrument, and offers the advanced technologicalmeans for groundwater monitoring. Through the implementation of the project, wecan promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, improvethe ability of innovation and enhance the international competitiveness of Chineseproducts. The paper described the scheme, structure and characteristic of the newdynamic monitoring of groundwater. The system uses a high degree of integration ofthe microprocessor (MSC1210), so it can reduce hardware circuit, improve thestability of the system and reduce power consumption. The using of pressure sensorand the temperature sensor provides the accurate data and high reliability.Groundwater monitoring instrument is designed in this paper makes the research onour environmental monitoring of groundwater stepped up to a new step.
