Monitoring the change of pressure in the coal mine is an important link in the coal mine safety production. In view of the current coal mine monitoring system function is single, the network is complex, the node power consumption is high,in this dissertation, a low power consumption of coal mine pressure monitoring system is designed. It provides effective and reliable technical assistance for the monitoring of mine pressure.In this dissertation, the design of coal mine pressure monitoring system is divided into three parts: downhole pressure sensor nodes, communication substation and monitoring PC. Pressure sensor nodes monitor the coal mine roadway roof pressure and coal pillar pressure changes. Then the pressure data is sent to the underground communication station. Communication substation is the transfer station of data transmission. The pressure data is transmitted to the monitoring host computer through Ethernet. Staff use PC to monitor the underground coal mine pressure change. The work done in this paper is as follows:First, by reading a lot of literature and consulting related staff, understanding the relevant technology and functional requirements of the current coal mine pressure monitoring system, the overall design of the system is carried out.Second, according to the functional requirements of the system, we designed the functional modules of sensor nodes and communication substation, and select the hardware, it meets the mine pressure monitoring system for underground equipment requirements.Third, the system uses a low power design, system uses the low power ZigBee communication mode, low power chip CC2530 and the software process based on the time synchronization mechanism, it reduces the node power consumption from the whole.The power consumption of the node is tested, and the feasibility of low power design is verified.Fourth, communication substation embedded C/OS system, and we use the C# language host computer software, with the use of Server SQL database. In this way, the system reliability and ease of use are increased, at the same time, it greatly facilitates the staff to analyze and manage the data.This system uses a series of low power design methods, in order to ensure the reliability of the monitoring system at the same time, as far as possible reduces the power consumption of the system, greatly improves the lifetime of the node. In the actual test, it is guaranteed that the effective use time of the node battery is more than one year, which meets the requirements of the coal mine. At the same time, the software of upper computer based on C# is stable, the data is processed quickly, and the operation is convenient. The system was awarded the certification of Chongqing Coal Academy in 2015.The system is installed in the use of Wang Zhuang and Si Hou coal mine in Shanxi, and has a good running condition.
