At present, the ecological restoration of abandoned mines have received greatattention in the world. Untreated mining wasteland is caused by environmentalpollution, soil erosion and land desertification hazard, the consequences of theeconomic development and human survival posed a serious threat, so the ecologicalrestoration of abandoned mines engineering has be imperative.In this paper the application of ecology principle to guide the practice ofecological restoration of abandoned mines, in summing up the mining wasteland typesand characteristics of the foundation, this paper discussed in detail the ecologyprinciple in the various mining ecological restoration technology application,including in mine matrix improvement should followed in the process of collaborativeadaptation principle and the principle of limiting factors in mine vegetation selection;process should follow the ecological succession theory and niche theory; in minevegetation configuration process should follow density restriction principle andspecies diversity principle; as well as in the construction of mine harmoniousecological system should be introduced in various animal, microorganism, so as toincrease the species diversity of mine ecological system.And the combination of coal ecological restoration ecological restoration casesummarizes the general methods and steps.At the same time, in order to predict the ecological restoration engineering effect,ecological restoration of mining area ecosystem is to maximize its value, this paperuses the land suitability evaluation on mine ecological restoration land suitabiltiy isevaluated, to its final used direction to undertake planning; application benefitanalysis method for ecological restoration engineering input, output efficiency isanalyzed, the application of landscape ecology evaluation method in the mining areato build a reasonable landscape pattern in mining area, eventually established areasonable structure, perfect function, stable, self-sustaining ecosystem.
