ABSTRACT: The high speed development of aquaculture with intensive、scale、modernization in our country,making the poultry and animal fecespollution is the third big pollution after the industrial pollution andsewage pollution,which is also the one of the main factors to realize thesustainable development,so it is imperative to use the new technology tosolve farms sewage.Because the sewage contains many nutrients,so wocan use it to produce hydrogen which is green、clean、high density energyand renewable,which is not only to realize the recycle of waste, and alsosolve the energy crisis.This paper use the sewage which is after pretreatment as the substrate,using two-step method combined to produce hydrogen, to examine theeffect of anaerobic and photosynthetic microbial coalition hydrogenwith the different factors. This paper is based on research supported by“863”project(No.2012AA051502).The results of the study shownbelow:(1) The frist step is anaerobic ferment stage which use activated sludge asstrains, the activated sludge contains a large number of anaerobic andfacultative anaerobic bacteria, in order to get the good effects of hydrogen production, we use the heat treatment of10.20.30min at100℃,acidtreatment in a water bath of37℃, respectively of24hwith pH of3.4.5,and alkali treatment in a water bath of37℃,respectively of24hwithpH of9.10.11to deal the active sludge,the heat treatment of20min canget the good effect of hydrogen production, the comulative yield ofhydrogen content can be up to343ml/g, it is1.09times of the acidtreatment,1.23times of the alkali treatment,it has not been detected theexist of methane gas in the process of hydrogen production. The suitablequantity of activated sludge is15%, the value of initial pH which indarkness fermented liquid is6.5. The end of dark fermentation is41h, thevolatile fatty acids almost reached the maximum, was9624.932mg/L, theaccumulative of hydrogen content is175ml/g, but at this time, thehydrogen production rate was almost0, the final measured solution pH is3.62.(2) The second step is photosynthetic fermentation stage which usemicrobial as strains, using the fermented liquid which is after thedarkness fermentation to continue to produce hydrogen. By adjusting thevalue of ferment liquid pH, joining the light, keeping30℃in theconstant temperature box to produce hydrogen.The end of photosynthesisfermentation is104h,we can get the accumulative of hydrogen content is346ml/g at this stage.the amount of hydrogen production is1.98times ofthe stage of dark fermentation. The volatile fatty acids dropped to392.172mg/L,it eliminate the organic acid of fermentation from the pollution of environment.The accumulative of hydrogen content is521ml/g at two stage.
