Advanced machining technology is the foundation of the national defense andindustry modernization and is a key criterion to evaluate the manufacturing level of acountry.Turn-milling is one of the hot question in mechanical processing and importantdeveloping direction in the future.Orthogonal turn-milling is one of the mostcommonly used machining methods of turn-milling machining,almost all of theprocesses of workpieces can be carried out on a turn-milling machine tool for complexparts.It is one of the important content of the study to the cutting force in the process ofmetal cutting,and it is the important basis to machine tools,cutting tools fixture.therefore, it is the positive significance to study the relationship of the cuttingparameters and the cutting force of orthogonal turn-milling.The mathematical model error of the orthogonal turn-milling cutting force isanalysed in paper,which is Based on the method of single factor. The computersimulation system for orthogonal turn-milling cutting force is developed based onMATLAB. With the simulation system,discussed in detail the relationship between thecutting force and the several cutting parameters of axial feeding, cutting depth,workpiece speed, milling tool speed, milling gear. Research the law of the max andaverage of the cutting force that is affected different cutting parameters, directly reflectthe relation of the cutting force and different cutting parameters. the simulation systemof orthogonal turn-milling chip is developed by using the AutoLISP language, with thesimulation system,studied the above cutting parameters on orthogonal turn-millingchip, verify whether it is correct to the law of the cutting force and cutting parameters.Finally, adopting multi-factor orthogonal experiment method, the relation betweenturn-milling regimes and orthogonal turn-milling has been ascertained. Theexperimental design is used to discovery whether the factors are prominent and themain factors,so we can pay special attention to those main factors to reduce the cutting force of orthogonal turn-milling. It was concluded that the milling gear has aprominent impact on the max and average cutting force;the workpiece speed is theimportant factor on cutting power.
