The synthetic strategy is mainly the one-pot synthesis procedure. The different reactionconditions were investigated. Finally, six new compounds based on the vacantheteropolymolybdates have been obtained in aqueous solution. The structures of sixheteropolymolybdates have been ascertained by several characterizations. Thephotoluminescence, magnetic property and surface photovoltage property of the compoundshave been investigated.1. Na2MoO4·2H2O, GeO2, rare-earth salts, CuCl2were used as the reactants. The organicligand ethylenediamine was introduced to the reaction system. In the conventional aqueoussolution, four new lanthanide-containing germanomolybdates were isolated by rationalone-pot synthetic procedure.H(C2N2H10)5[Cu(C2N2H82][Eu(GeMo11O39)2]·11H2O(C2N2H8=ethylenediamine)(1)H(C2N2H10)5[Cu(C2N2H82][Ce(GeMo11O39)2]·13H2O (2)(C2N2H10)5.5[Cu(C2N2H82][Pr(GeMo11O39)2]·10H2O (3)(C4H10NO)13[Ce(GeMo11O39)2]·11H2O (C4H9NO=morpholine)(4)In compound1,the sandwich-type [Eu(GeMo11O39)2]13-polyanions are alternativelylinked by two crystallographic independent [Cu(C2N2H82]2+fragments to form aone-dimensional chain. In compound2,the [Ce(GeMo11O39)2]13-polyanions are connected byone independent [Cu(C2N2H82]2+fragment to form a dimer structure.2. Na2MoO4·2H2O, GeO2, Ce(NO33, CuCl2were used as the reactants. The ethylenediaminewas also used as the ligand. The pH value of the reaction system was raised. One newtrivacant germanomolybdate-based compound5was synthesized in the conventional aqueoussolution.(C2N2H10)3[Cu(C2N2H82]3[Cu2(GeMo9O33)2]·19H2O (5)In compound5,the [Cu2(GeMo9O33)2]12-polyanions are alternatively linked by two[Cu(C2N2H82]2+fragments to form a one-dimensional chain structure.3. Na2SiO3·9H2O, Na2MoO4·2H2O, GeO2, ErCl3·6H2O, CuCl2were used as the reactants. Theorganic ligand ethylenediamine was also added to the reaction system.
