Continuous fiber reinforced thermoplastic plastics is a kind of promising hot composite material, To expand successfully application of PPS composites, in this report, with the special self-designed equipment, the unidirectional prepreg of continuous carbon-fiber reinforced PPS are prepared by a flexible and easy manageable melt-prepreg process. And then the parameters of laminated molding were optimized by using single-factor experiment. To expand successfully application of PPS composites into the aerospace/aviation, the influence of the temperature on the laminates was also investigated as well as the creep properties. It was found that the obtained optimal process conditions were showed as below: molding temperature320℃, molding pressure5.0MPa, pre-heated time30min, constant temperature time70min. The properties of laminates were excellent, flexural strength was1767.87MPa, and flexural modulus was151.97GPa. Moreover, the notched Izod impact strength was219.32KJ/m. Under the heat treatment at230℃for4h, the laminates were achieved11%higher performance than without, with the increase of temperature, flexural strength declined obviously, and at90℃, the strength was to keep retention rate95.03%,when at200℃,strength retention rate was46.95%, but the flexural modulus changed quite gently, retention rate was basically maintained at90%. When in low-temperature environment, the research shows that the composite is very superior resistance to low temperature performance, at-75℃, retention rate of the flexural properties remained at90%.Additionally, Under the high temperature, high loading stress environment, the long-term and short-term creep behavior of laminate material were comprehensively researched and explored, with the Burger model, Findley law model and WFT equation for actual representation and theoretical analysis on the test results.
