Modern processing industry continues to require stamping technology and processing equipment to be flexible, but traditional stamping equipments are lack of flexibility, so they can’t perfectly adapt to a variety of processing. While the technology of AC servo control applied to servo punch will better meet the diverse needs of the punch processing.The traditional development method of servo control system makes the long development cycle and the high cost, and complex control algorithm is also not easy to achieve.In order to overcome the defects of traditional method, the subject develops servo control system with Model-based Design and RCP (Rapid Controller Prototyping) methods based on different stamping molding regularity of aluminum and copper. The subject contains:(1) According to the stamping molding regularity of aluminum and copper, we design control algorithm to meet different processing performance.Then put control algorithm into C program through RCP method,so we can achieve control algorithm very quickly and easily;(2) In traditional method, we can verify system after the whole system has been done.When one part changes, others also need to change. In order to overcome the question, we choose Model-based Design method.Building the framework model of servo press and control system, then do the co-simulation and improve system according to the result of servo press.So the development process will be easier and more efficient;(3) In traditional method, we need lots of researchers to manually program the control system.So it costs a lot and also not easy to achieve.But it can be achieved easier by using Model-based Design and RCP. First, build program diagram of the DSP controller and control algorithm, then the program diagram can automatically convert to C program in CCS by RCP, so we can debug and download the program to control servo press move.Finally we can achieve the servo press control system very quickly.The method is right and feasible by the result, and the control system can satisfy different needs in different processing modes.This method can overcome the defects of traditional development method by using Model-based Design and RCP methods.We can also enhance the flexibility of system development, make control algorithm more streamlined, and improve the development efficiency of the control system.
