Aluminum and aluminum alloy welding is widely used in all aspects of industry. Thequality of the welding joint is often related with the success of the whole system. However, inactual production, when there are the quality problems in welding joint. We always solve theproblems by adjusting the parameter, modify the welding material. This way not only wastesmanpower and material resources, but also spends a lot of time, with the actual productionproblems not timely and effective solved. So we have made the system development of graingrowth. Through the establishment of such a system.we can actually save time and moneycosts. We realize the simulation of grain growth in welding molten pool through the finiteelement calculation and welding test on the basis of welding molten pool solidification theory. We have successfully combined the solidification theory knowledge with mathematicalrandom numerical method, Such as the method of Cellular automata and Monte Carlo whichwere widely used. We have used the advantage of computer which can make large scalecomputation in short time, and successfully completed the aluminum alloy weldingmicrostructure simulation software system. In finite element analysis, we build the welding of double ellipsoid heat sourcemodel through the ABAQUS two development by the FORTRAN language. We have got thetemperature filed through the finite element calculation, which provide the basis for accuracyvalidation of our system.Above all, formula is derived on the basis of material welding molten pool solidificationtheory. We have established the grain growth simulation system for the first time with thebasis of experiment data. We wish that the later workers can make the system optimized byadding more reference elements.
