Fluorine is one of the essential trace elements, the amount of fluoride in theenvironment is too high or the lack of will result in disorders of the human bodyfluorine content, to the detriment of the health of the body. With industrialdevelopment, a large number of fluorine-containing wastewater discharged into thegroundwater bodies, resulting in soil and water fluoride content is too high, willdirectly affect the quality of drinking water and food to people’s lives. SoilDetermination of fluorine content in the monitoring, evaluation and control ofenvironmental fluoride pollution and endemic fluorosis control is of great significance,is necessary to establish an accurate and reliable method of measuring.Since the successful design of the fluoride ion selective electrode, because of itsanti-interference ability, high sensitivity, low prices, convenient and accuracy of theanalysis of a wide range of applications, soil fluorine it is mainly affected by thepretreatment of the sample and determination of the solution system has beenfollowed.This paper, with reference to the requirements of national standard methods(GB/T14506.12-93) the use of ion-selective electrode method for the determination offluorine species of soil and stream sediment. According to the selected16nationalstandard part of the improvement of the ion-selective electrode method for thedetermination of fluoride ion. The ScS melting ore with sodium hydroxide instead ofsodium peroxide, to avoid the sample in the sample extraction procedure sputtering,resulting in sample loss and personal injury. For sample determination, not onlyshorten the time of the molten ore, reducing the cost of experiments and experimentalmethods have also been improved, fast, inexpensive, widely used in the actualproduction work; Second investigated Determination several national standard test conditions: melt temperature, melting time, the acidity of the solution, settling time,mixing time, ionic strength modifier to eliminate interfering ions and other factorsaffect the measurement results of the fluorine optimization of experimental conditions,to determine the sample melting temperature of700℃, time12min, allowed to standovernight, measured in the temperature of25℃. Constant temperature environment,ensure pH4~7, measurement results by the measuring method, we selected eightnational standard, four kinds of stream sediment soil material,12parallel tests weredone, the accuracy and precision of the analysis of the resulting data, have reached thenational standard, relatively satisfied with the result of determination. Because time isshort, high efficiency, low cost, sensitivity and good soil and aqueous species ofwidely used.
