Petroleum, as a strategic resource of the country, is the foundation of the sustainable development social-economy, with the rapid development of Chinese economy recently, the consumption of oil has increased rapidly, too. China has become the second oil consumer, also the third oil importer in the world.At the present time, the way of Cargo oil heating is steam heating, because of the length of pipe which transport steam is large, the heating efficiency is relatively low. Aiming at this problem, this paper studies the microwave heating the cargo oil by experiment. The principle of microwave heating is that the vector of polarizability which is generated by dielectric polarization lag behind electric an angle when the Cargo oil in the function of electromagnetism, so lead to the generation of current which is in the same phase of electric, constitute power dissipation of Cargo oil, and cause the physical volume heating.In this paper, according to the feature of microwave heating, we designed the microwave heating experimental device. The design of experimental device can be divided into two parts which microwave heating and automatic control. The design of microwave heating is mainly to solve the contradiction between the microwave penetration and shielding, automatic control included the control of the heating temperature and the protection of the heating device.In this paper, firstly we make a research on the microwave heating experiments on water medium and oil medium under different conditions, by analyzing the experimental result, the following conclusions have been:The volume factor has a less impact on of water absorbing microwave power, but it has a greater impact on of lube absorbing microwave power; In the same volume conditions, the lube absorbing microwave power is greater than the water. The theory and calculation of microwave heating cover with the electromagnetism and heat exchange, in the actual heating process, there are many complicated factors, having some difficulty in theoretical research and calculation, in order to simplify the calculation and analysis. Secondly we make some assumptions on the physical model of the heating experiment to establish the mathematical model of microwave heating, through the comparison of the experimental results and theoretical analysis, we found the theoretical and experimental results are consistent. At last we can determine the heating time by predicting to the absorbing microwave power of other types of Cargo oil.
