The transportation of crude oil by sea has always been a worldwide concern.Because of its physical properties,it needs to be heated in order to ensure the normal loading and unloading of crude oil.The traditional heating system of tanker cargo oil is limited by the characteristics of crude oil and the structure of cargo hold,which results in low heating efficiency,serious energy waste and environmental pollution.In this paper,the structural parameters of the cargo hold heating coil of 105,000 DWT shuttle tanker are optimized,and a new type of heating coil is proposed to improve the heating efficiency.The main work is as follows:Firstly,the flow field of NO.4 cargo hold of 105000 DWT tanker was simulated by STAR CCM + software.The results of numerical simulation and experimental data are compared to verify the accuracy of the simulation results.Secondly,according to the structural parameters of heating coil in cargo hold,the heating system models with different parameters are established and simulated,and the single factor analysis is carried out to determine the influencing factors of heating efficiency of heating coil in oil tanker cargo hold(pitch of heating coil at bottom,pitch of heating coil on bulkhead and diameter of heating coil);Thirdly,the response surface analysis method is used to design the experimental design of the determined influencing factors.Based on the experimental results,the response surface model is established to determine the mathematical relationship between the influencing factors of heating efficiency and heating efficiency,and the structural parameters of the heating coil with the highest heating efficiency are obtained.Finally,a new type of heating coil is proposed,and its heating efficiency is compared with that of snake-shaped heating coil by numerical calculation.
