China is now in the economic and social transformation, the face of economic and social development imbalance of the situation. All kinds of safety accidents occur repeatedly. In our various industrial control of the application of operation process, there are many potential danger and risk, including the complexity is different. Many functions security is by taking the measures of the passive system for, less part function security is through the security system for the initiative. It needs to improve the application of different safety protection system, get more active system protection function.This topic is based on the temperature class secure isolation barrier research and development input function. Firstly, industrial temperature measurement technology and safety technology development has carried on the detailed introduction, then this Ann explosion-proof technology, electromagnetic compatibility technology and so on has carried on the thorough research And on this technology is put forward based on TI company’s24high precision A/D converter ADS1247and16-bit MCU MSP430F5510temperature technology solutions.The project completes all of the hardware and software design, develops a low cost with high precision secure isolation barrier.The isolated barrier converts a low-level signal from a temperature sensor mounted in a hazardous area into a4-20mA current. The type and range of input signal can be online parameterized using PC with the configuration kit. The power supply, the input and the output are isolated from each other.The safety integrity level is SIL2, meeting the industry growing function safety reliability requirements. Finally, this subject is summarized and prospected.
