With the larger production scale, the environmental pollution is increasingly growing, in which the emission from industrial dust is more severe. How to decrease its influence is a very important topic. Based on analysis on the background of the paper, control technology for electric de-dusting and its development, the scheme of design for the control system of practical Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) in India is proposed in the paper from the angle of improving its de-dusting efficiency. Furthermore, the scheme is implemented and applied in India.Firstly, the basic working principle of ESP technology and its domestic and international development of control technology are theoretically analyzed in the paper, in which high-voltage and low-voltage power equipment are the core parts of Electrostatic Precipitator and is focused to study. Meanwhile, from two aspects of improving the de-dusting efficiency and saving energy, the factors that affect the efficiency of de-dusting Electrostatic Precipitator and measures that improve the de-dusting efficiency are studied. The control technology of combining high-voltage power supply and optimization is further put forward and studied to design the control system of ESP high-voltage and low-voltage power supply equipment. According to the actual situation of ESP control system, Field Bus system is selected, which results in designing a set of electric de-dusting control system based on a Field Bus system in order to achieve ESP electric control. On the other hand, the designed control system of ESP high-voltage and low-voltage power supply equipment is applied onsite in India. Finally, the remote and real-time communications between the host computer and the controller for electric de-dusting is achieved, by using software RSlogix5000AB programming, IFIX software configuration for Host Computer and advanced Field Bus technology.The onsite application in India has been verified that the ESP electric de-dusting control system designed in the paper is reliable to implement and easy to operate. The effect of de-dusting is obvious and its collection efficiency is improved. It can minimize the costs of operation and maintenance, bring obvious energy-saving effect and improve economic efficiency.
