It is very difficult to deal with the mining ground pressure problemfor the safety workers. Scientific researchers have developed lots ofmethods to monitoring the ground pressure. Those traditional groundpressure monitoring methods have abvious limitations that people have toarrive the monitoring place to get the data and then bring it back to takeadvancing analysis. However, long-distance data transmission andcomputer technology is very mature and reliable now. Thus, aiming at themonitoring and early warning of the roadway deformation, this paperstudied the visual data analysis and processing system for the surroundingrock deformation real-time monitoring. We use the automatic detectiontechnology to obtain the data based on laser ranging. The data of thesurrounding rock deformation delivered by fiber-optic cable can be storedin the monitoring PC which is set in the monitoring office on the surfaceafter analysis and processing to know the development process and law.And this paper established the double index early warning rules ofroadway deformation and failure in order that we can take the effectiveprevention and treatment. The research contents and the main conclusionswas summarized as follows:(1)Based on Visual C#development platform, the software usesCOM serial communication to receive and store the data in the MicrosoftOffice Access2003database. Then the software processes the data intowaveform and shows it on the screen by using ZedGraph control. Thesoftware ensure that monitoring workers can watch the real-timesurrounding rock deformation waveform intuitively and that storing thedata, after-retrieving, after-analysis and processing.(2)In the database connection, the software uses SQL (StructuredQuery Language) to CRUD (Create, Retrieve, Update, Delete) databaseby the ODBC (Open Database Connectivity). It implements visualmanagement to the database. In the software interface, it uses GridViewcontrol to retrieve and update the data. Writer create the Class MatrixOperator and Class Regression to calculate linear, power, hyperbola and quadratic regression equations automatically by using the computer.According to the equations, the software shows the scatter diagram andits fitting curves visually by using ZedGraph control. Technicians canview the historical data easily, and take advancing early-warning analysisby judging from the different regression curves which mean differenttrends.(3)The software has the early-warning models of the surroundingrock instantaneous deformation and accumulative deformation. Duringthe monitoring, once the data trigger the models, the system raise theacousto-optical alarm: the acousto alarm is raised by SoundPlayercontrol, and the optical alarm is raised by Label control, which loads theGIF to flash. That means the software could make the early-warningimmediately, and reduce the work of the technicians.(4)Finally, using the data of Dahongshan iron mining, this papergives example analysis by using this software.2periods data in1090madit was analyzed that both of their the best regression equations werequadratic regression equation:y=0.2048+0.0133x+0.0014x~2,y=0.3059+0.0944x+0.0003x~2Residuad sum of squares are0.0637and0.9428.
