The need of energy in the world today has become shortage, China’s industry transformation is imminent and energy management of the company is becoming more important. The establishment of efficient energy metering system is important for reducing costs and pollution.In traditional energy metering the data of field instrument is often artificially collected and analyzed,but the efficiency and accuracy is not so good. With the continuous development of computer technology, communication network technology and control technology, the expansion of the scale of production and information management requirement increasing, more and more diverse types of energy data has increased dramatically, and the requirement of real-time and shared data is higher.Energy measurement gradually changed from manual collection to the networked, systematic, intelligent direction. This project comes from a large-scale tobacco factory energy metering management system designing project undertaken by the Six Research Institute of China National Machinery Industry Corporation.The designing of the system fully considers the need of the tobacco factory for management, production and automatic control equipment, combined with actual situation of the factory,including its own characteristics of the energy equipment, with the using of the latest technology of these fields,such as computer technology, network technology, modern communications technology, intelligent measurement and control technology, automatic control technology and so on. following the principle of advance, reliability, maintainability, interoperability, usability, scalability, openness, normal, professional,expertise and economic, with the decentralized control,comprehensive monitoring, centralized management mode,11subsystems such as transformation and distribution systems, refrigeration systems, boiler systems, compressed air systems, vacuum systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems, heat exchange system, aliquots measurement management system and drain sewage system and so on of the whole plant are detected, counted, analyzed, stored and managed,and it provides foundation for policy decision. Suitable front-end intelligent measurement instrument and places are choosed to measure the datas of gas, fuel, electricity, water, steam and so on, and the data is uploaded to the gateway, and then through optical fiber forming redundant ring network to the energy management center. The structure of three layers and two layers network makes its composition clear, redundant ring network optimizes the way of networking and can solve the potential problems of network congestion and stability. The management center uses2SCADA servers which make fault tolerance system and the using of COM technology and OPC protocol make the operation of the configuration design and debug very convenient.System architecture are combined by C/S mode and B/S mode. Several monitor and management stations can monitor the equipment working of the entire system, and real-time data can be released by WEB publishing server. seamless switching can be achieved between the Web server and the text server, and users can query data through the Internet easily, at the same time different accessing rights can ensure the security of data. In addition, the system is designed with MES communication interface, supporting TCP/IP protocol, so it has laid a good foundation for the construction of enterprise information system.
