ASP is technique which is composed of alkali, surface acting agent and polymer.Compared to polymer flooding, ASP enhances oil recovery by expanding swept volume. ASPflooding technology has made a breakthrough in Daqing Oil Field Company. In laboratorytest of ASP flooding, well pattern, well spacing and reservoir nature will have effect onexperimental results, so the five oil formations were selected to the field guide-testing. Theresults showed that ASP can achieve a preferable effect of oil increasement and water cutdown, and the recovery ratio can be improved20%than water flooding. But scalingphenomenon is also very serious in injection-production system and near borehole zones, andthe normal production of oil well is seriously affected. Especially in the fourth plant ofDaqing oilfield, The scale sample is similar with porcelain slice, the ordinary scale-dissolvingagent system can not dissolve it. For dissolving scale sample of ASP in the fourth plant ofDaqing oilfield, it is great significance to study the scaling mechanism of this reservoir.Based on the feature of physical property in ASP reservoir, core morphology, chemicalcomposition and mineral composition of reservoir were analyzed. By the dynamic testcombined with static test, effect of each component of ASP on the dissolution characteristic ofcore was preliminary discussed. Finally the high pressure physical simulation tests wasproceeded to research scaling mechanism about ASP flooding in the fourth plant of Daqingoilfield.
