In the flow behavior of two-phase flow in horizontal gathering line under carbon dioxideflood, the temperature of two-phase flow decreases continuously owing to heat transfer andheat exchange affect. And then the viscosity of two-phase flow increases continuously, andthe transport resistance of pipeline increases and the phenomenon of solidification pipelinemay occur. The occurrence of solidification pipeline can seriously affect the safety ofgathering line and the high efficient operation, even causing serious accident. So it isimportant to study thermodynamic and hydraulic numerical calculation of two-phase flow inhorizontal gathering line under carbon dioxide flood.Considering the Joule-Thomson refrigeration effect of carbon dioxide, the frictionalheating of liquid and the effect of viscosity of crude oil caused by carbon dioxide, themathematical models were set up about thermodynamic and hydraulic calculation oftwo-phase flow in horizontal gathering line under carbon dioxide flood and relevantnumerical calculation methods were given. The program on thermodynamic and hydraulicnumerical calculation of two-phase flow in horizontal gathering line under carbon dioxideflood was programmed with VB. Taking9oil wells, such as Shu36-25well in Dong14Blockof Yushulin Oil Field Develpment Ltd in Daqing and etc, as examples, the temperature andpressure at the end of pipelines were calculated. The results show that relative errors betweenthe numerical calculation results and the practical results are within5%, which proves that themathematical models and the numerical calculation methods mentioned above are correct andthe occurrence of solidification pipeline can be prevented.
