Now, a wide range of water jet radial drilling technology in low permeability reservoirexploitation, this technology through high-pressure fluid flowing through the drill directionaljet, be provided with jet orientation registration, jet long distance, drilled larger pore size,reduce the pollution belt, increased production and water injection, etc. Simultaneously, beregarded as the low-permeability reservoirs in major mining worldwide. But, because of thetechnology advanced and the best parts has not been widely known and there has been avariety of shortcomings and inadequacies in field applications. Therefore, we focused onthese defects, in order to improve the efficiency of rock breaking, to improvement andresearch.Water jet drilling technology core component is drill, it changes in the structure, have agreat impact on the results of the rock breaking. so, full text through change the drill’sparameters to simulate and research to improve the performance of the drill, and, the maincontent include:(1)In connection with this technology, described their research purpose, meaning, aswell as domestic and outside the status quo. Draw water jet technology worldwide practicality,but, still exist shortcomings and deficiencies.(2)Describe the rock breaking mechanism of water jet drilling technology and theconstruction process etc. Raise the awareness of the technology.(3)Establish drill’s2D model, simulation single hole case of drill’s flow velocitycontours in the different nozzles entrance shape, the different nozzle diameterand the differentlength and diameter ratios, come to a reasonable range of nozzle parameters.(4)Establish drill’s3D model, simulation single hole case of drill’s flow velocitycontours of special-shaped jet and the different target distance, and porous circumstances, thedifferent number of injection holes, the different fore nozzle spacing, the different spatiallayout, come to a reasonable range of nozzle parameters.(5)Matching the drill parameters to optimize the program for the actual job.Based on the above research, analysis and research of different models and parameters ofthe drill’s the flow field around. The conclusions provide the theoretical basis and referencefor the water jet drilling technology.
