With the rise of the petrochemical and coal chemical industry in china, centrifugal compressor in domestic large scale put forward higher requirements, to design and manufacture of centrifugal compressor impeller as at the core of the rotating parts, is made of strong corrosion resistance of stainless steel and high temperature alloy steel forgings.Impeller as the key part of the turbine machine, is a kind of representative and typical channel complex part, the shape characteristic, the shape of blade suction side and pressure side involves multiple subjects such as aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, the processing difficulty is mainly manifested in:1.the impeller blade shape is complex, its blade is not more developable ruled surface distortion, can only be made by the five axis CNC machine or electrochemical machining;2.due to the thickness of the impeller blade thinner, have elastic-plastic deformation in machining process, and easily happened phenomenon;3.the impeller is mostly work under the condition of high temperature and high pressure, high speed, has high linear velocity in the impeller rotates, so we choose stainless steel, high temperature nickel base alloy or titanium alloy and other difficult processing materials.In this paper, the large diameter of the centrifugal compressor impeller with the five-axis CNC machining, high speed milling tool-paths combine planning impeller as the core content, as the goal to shorten the impeller machining time, through the combined use of NREC, the UG and Vericut software to achieve high-speed milling processing.High-speed milling processing in this paper is mainly use imported carbide cutting tools and fixed axis machine tool processing, solve the traditional ternary impeller machining using HSS steel cutting tools of five-axis linkage milling blade side problem:generated when the parts processing cycle is long, machine tool cutting force is big, easy cause spindle head damage, at the same time, with fine ductile due to the high speed steel cutter cutting tool is easy to cause vibration cutting blade.In this paper, the structural features of the large-diameter Impeller reference impeller machining specialists abroad turn-key projects, solve the problem of lower large diameter impeller machining efficiency. For example with a diameter F1000mm impeller, UG NX4the impeller planning tool path, combined vericut software for computer simulation. Finally, we actual mill the impeller with five axis machining center with stcl250of the Starragheckert company machine in Switzerland, a comparative validation and processing effect, shorten the processing cycle and improved the machining efficiency of impeller; At the same time, for the big parts of similar complex high speed milling experience provides the reference.
