Design For Site Improvement Of Packing Workshop In H Food Factory

Producing site is one of the most active places for producing in a company. A company could acquire the biggest profits in site. Site improvement is a management method which is inexpensive and indistinctive, and its goal is to enhance company’s competitiveness by cutting down cost of products and improving productivity.This thesis is on the basis of site improvement. In this thesis, we selected H food factory as the research object, then we described the producing process in detail, and made the packing workshop which is full of many management issues as our object. The main methods adopted in this paper include5S site management and work study in Industrial Engineering. On the one hand, according to the status of poor workshop environment and stuffs’ low morale, the first method of5S site management is put forward in this thesis. The quality of the environment is improved by launching the activity of SEIR、SEITON and SEISO. SEIKETSU and SHITSUKE are helpful for changing workers’attitude and enhancing workers’ enthusiasm even to improve factory’s soft power. On the other hand, work study including method study and time study is applied in this thesis to solve problems in the packing workshop such as unreasonable transport process, nonstandard operating, low packing efficiency and so on. We elaborated the workflow and elaborated key processes by the way of method study firstly, then put emphasis on founding and analyzing the unreasonable part in detail. At last, we made solutions to every unreasonable part according to principles of economy and ECRS (eliminate, combine, rearrange, simplify) principles, for the purpose of improving efficiency, lowing cost and improving the quality of products.In this thesis, we analyzed every problems existing in the packing workshop, then developed improving plans according to theories of site improvement. Eventually, we put out different methods of evaluation corresponding to different improving plans. Finally, we find that these plans for packing workshop of H food factory are effective at the theoretical level. Also, the sign put forward in this thesis could be a reference to other similar enterprises.
